Yeah, I know the name is a put off for anyone who is currently employed. But don’t let that stop you. (And rest assured, I’m on their case about updating their brand to more accurately reflecting what they’re about—hear that, Patrick & Erik?!) These guys have put together an incredible resource for professionals in Chi-town, from their monthly events to the expert advice on their website.
I met Patrick and Erik earlier this year, just before their first event. I’ve been impressed over the past year by what I’ve seen—the dedication to the cause, genuine desire to help others, and ability to pull people together. (You should see the cadre of volunteers they’ve attracted!)
Unfortunately, I won’t be able to attend their November events (I’ll be planning Fail Spectacularly! during their Nov 3rd event, and in DC to promote my new book during their 17th event), but I’ll be back in December… and just wait ’til you see what we’re cooking up for January!
