Today’s post is simple and to the point:
If you want to win, you have to go for it.
The Winter Olympics just started, and last night, a Canadian named Alexandre Bilodeau had the run of his life down the mogul course to win gold in the men’s freestyle competition.
He put it all on the line and for just over 23 seconds, he lived on that edge between controlled and toast: had he backed off, he would have guaranteed failure; had he pushed it even a fraction more, he might have failed spectacularly. He took the risk, and it paid off.
So now, about you.
How close to that line do you play? Are you going for it?
You can’t win from the sidelines.
You can’t win with a partial effort.
You can’t win by talking about winning.
So get out there… go for it!
