“All of our ‘At Your Service’ representatives are busy at the moment…”
“We invite you to stay on the line…”
“Your call is important to us…”
“Your flight attendants are here primarily for your safety.”
“Have a nice day.”
Listen up, people:
Can it.
Especially if you write business scripts, really, kill the baloney.
No one believes it, no one cares, and no one’s buying it.
All you’re doing is wrecking important phrases for people who use them sincerely.
So knock it off.

I don’t know Jason. A lot about having manners and providing superior service are at their core BS too but they are necessary for mutual gain in our society.

I’m with Jason on this one. If there’s a script, its baloney… Going through the motions….
I just wrote about this last week…. I made a test call to zappos after another call to another large company went horribly wrong. Zappos restored my faith in humanity.
Cheers
