No one’s perfect.
Some people wear their imperfections on their sleeve. Some people show them off when they open their mouths to speak. And some carry their imperfections around on the inside, hidden from the world.
But make no mistake: whatever you see, however perfect someone looks, you can trust—sure as God put little green apples on this earth—that everyone’s got something.

I think this fact is harder for young people to appreciate than it is for those of us who are older (say, forty and up). But that piece of wisdom, once gained, is a game changer, imo.
@Karen—I was never smarter than when I was 18 and totally unencumbered by the sticky, gritty reality of the world’s imperfections.
lol. Um, right. Scratch what I said. Unencumbered is WAY better.
