The reality is, for those of us Renaissance men and women who require, nay, demand an interesting work life, the best bet is to kick unquestionable ass at something we know we love, and let the new opportunities and challenges that come through successive successes (can I say that?) keep it interesting. That's not to say it's unhealthy to work for different companies over one's career. But a lot of people my age or younger are in danger of believing that it's okay to build a resume where you have to include only years on Linkedin because nothing crosses the 12 month mark.

Well said, sir.
