Jaz and I spent a lot of time together yesterday, doing a lot of very fun activities. My favorite? Our daddy-daugher dinner date. Even though it was already dark out when we left the beach house (I’m based out of Sanibel here for a few days), she put on her sunglasses. Totally unnecessary. So naturally, I said nothing. She wore them to dinner. She wore them at dinner. I wore them for part of dinner, too. We laughed so loud that people around us were looking at us.
Rules? Yeah, we have a few at our house. “Don’t wear sunglasses to dinner while on vacation” isn’t one of them. And boy, did not having that rule pay off last night!
