Reason to Have Hope in Corporate America

April 22, 2010

Horror stories about lazy ass managers imposing lazy-ass policies that punish hard working, decent people for no good reason make frequent news fodder.

Because, really, who cares about those low paid hourlies anyway?

Turns out, these companies do.

And thank goodness.

Hats off to CCLC, Marriott, McDonald’s, Sodexo, University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics, and UNM Hospitals, for treating people like people, no matter what employee class they belong to!

Next up: let’s see a company implement policies based on a philosophy of: “We will single out rotten eggs and create policies that curtail only their privileges while continuing to treat everyone else like grown ups.”
