300 million on Facebook from around the globe.

Great.

Is it a time suck?
Social platform?
Money maker?
Alternative to TV?
Reality enhancement?
Something to talk about?
Way to meet people?
News source?

…but if you had to describe social media in terms of what you did with it, what would you call it then?

A connection to what is possible- a group of collaborative- like minded people that are willing to help each other. It could be business, personal, social, economic, any topic- any country, any hour of the day- there is always someone available to join the conversation….I use it for ideas and inspiration, and to be able to quickly stay on top of what is going on in the outside world. And yes, instead of or parallel to TV, or while running or waiting at/ through airports or riding as a passenger in a car.
