Fail Spectacularly!

Study Failure. Perspective Changes Everything.

November 3, 2009

Sometimes, the best way to solve a problem is to look at it from a new perspective—literally.

Turning a concept on its head—by breaking a single underlying assumption—is often enough to unlock the creative process and achieve a break through.

You can go your whole life thinking all you want to do is succeed… wondering why it’s not happening for you faster… and then BAM, one day, you think about what it takes to FAIL, and realize that you’re doing as much to hold yourself back as you are to propel yourself forward.

Don’t you hate when that happens?!

That’s why it pays to be creative, and to spend some time now and then with some off-the-wall thoughts. Brainstorming is not always about coming up with new ideas—sometimes, it’s about gaining a better understanding of the things you already (think) you know.
